Rory was a stutterer. In the seventies there was a country star who shuddered badly in his speaking voice but not when singing. In fact, after decades of failed speech therapy, what they taught stutters was to come up with a radio announcer’s voice and in doing that voice, they didn’t stutter. I worked on some animated editorial cartoons for THE TODAY SHOW back in the late 1980’s and the cartoonist had a stutter but could do a voice that he didn’t stutter with.

Tom Petty said, “When I heard about it, I sent George a fax, and it just said, ‘Aren’t you glad you married a Mexican girl?’ [laughs] Olivia really kicked ass. She is a beautiful person.”

Growing up not that far from Detroit we got CKLW from windsor. They introduced us to the Beatles before most American stations and it was awesome!!

It's sad that Eric Clapton got all the heat about Patti, when George cheated on her with Ringo's first wife, and a slew of other concubines. Paul McCartney seems to be the only one who got it right with Linda. Yeah he had a blip on the radar with Heather Mills, but the fact that he had no prenuptial, shows that McCartney married for true love. I'm glad Paul, Ringo, and Eric are happy now.
